Benjamin Liewald – COO Projects North America at Fracht FWO Inc.
Benjamin started his logistics career 25 years ago with Fracht in Germany and moved to the USA in 2004 to support the development of Fracht’s project presence
Today he serves on Fracht’s North American Executive Board and is leading the company’s Project Division in the region.
His main focus has been the development of an industry leading project logistics team through Key Account Management, talent development, as well as innovative and out of the box solutions for an ever so changing and challenging part of the industry.
Part of Fracht’s success in the project market are it’s capabilities on turnkey and domestic transport solutions, supported by a team of technical experts in all modes of transport, i.e. ocean/air, barge, heavy haul and specifically rail solutions with a unique specialized fleet of Fracht owned equipment.
Fracht has been able to position itself as a leader in project solutions in the Energy sector and a recently established EPC & Industrial Projects Team that focuses on a diverse portfolio of large construction type projects.

JC Lake, Branch Manager – Barnhart Houston Branch
JC serves as Branch Manager for Barnhart’s Houston office and has spent the past 28 years in the specialized heavy transport industry. He began his career with Joe D. Hughes as a prime mover driver and progressed through field operations as a transport superintendent before moving into sales and project management.
Throughout his career, he has managed complex heavy cargo transportation projects across the continental United States as well as internationally in South America, the Caribbean, and West Africa. His experience includes planning and executing specialized heavy haul moves for major industrial and infrastructure projects requiring advanced logistics coordination, permitting, and engineered transport solutions.
Bryan DuBose, Project Manager – Roll Lift USA
Bryan serves as a Project Manager with Roll Lift USA, working in the heavy transport and project logistics sector supporting specialized transportation and complex cargo movements.
His role involves coordinating logistics for projects that require detailed planning, strict safety compliance, and precise operational execution. Bryan works closely with operations teams, engineering partners, and clients to ensure the successful movement of oversized and heavy cargo.
He brings practical, hands-on industry insight to discussions around logistics strategy, operational efficiency, and the evolving challenges facing heavy transport and project cargo movements.
Ron Montgomery, VPÂ – Omega Morgan
Ron Montgomery began his career in the heavy haul industry in 1987 with Savage Industries in their Heavy Haul division. Over the course of his early career, he worked in multiple operational roles including driver, rigging crew supervisor, dispatcher, and marketing before ultimately managing the Heavy Haul division.
In 1997, Intermountain Rigging acquired the Heavy Haul division from Savage, forming Intermountain Rigging & Heavyhaul (IRH). Ron became President of IRH at that time and served in that role until the company was acquired by Omega Morgan in 2023.
A longtime leader within the specialized transportation industry, Ron has been actively involved with the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA), serving for more than 20 years on the Permit Policy Committee and previously as its Chairman, as well as Chairman of the Safety Committee. He has also served as Chairman of the Transportation Group, President, and Chairman of the Board of SC&RA. In addition, Ron was appointed to the Utah Governor’s Transportation Advisory Board and has served on several other industry boards and committees.
Keith Settle, CEO – OXBO, Inc.
Keith Settle founded OXBO, Inc. in 1993 and has been the CEO for the past 33 years.
OXBO has grown from a simple idea to a brand that is internationally recognized for providing solutions to the most complex moving and rigging projects in North America.
The OXBO team has been recognized with 15 international awards including the 2018 and 2020 Specialized Carriers and Riggers Hauling Jobs of the Year and the 2020 SC&RA Rigging Job of the Year.
The International Association of Structural Moving elected Keith President in 2014 and 2015.
Keith also served 3 terms as the Chairperson of the Transportation Governing Committee for the Specialized Carriers and Riggers Association and currently serves as the SC&RA’s Assistant Treasurer.
