Do I need to be a member of the ITMA to speak?
You do not need to be a member of ITMA to speak to our members. ITMA seeks speakers who are subject matter experts on topics affecting our industry.
How do I volunteer to be a speaker?
Please send an email to our Programs Director along with the information that you would like to present to our members. This information will be brought to the board for consideration at the next board meeting and we will advise accordingly.
Do you have a certain criteria to be a speaker?
ITMA organizations would like for all presentations to inform, instruct or educate our members on topics that is relevant to our industry.
As a speaker am I able to bring materials to share with the membership.
Yes we encourage you to bring take home presentations items for the members. We also request that you allow us to share your presentation with our members on our website.
Are speakers reimbursed for travel?
ITMA is a non-profit organization and if it is required and the board approves this could be a possibility. Please keep in mind our funds go to scholarships for our future industry associates.
Are speakers required to have a power point presentation for the event?
Powerpoint presentations are not required. If you do have a presentation, please provide it to our programs director one week prior to the event so that it can be approved and formatted properly.
