Lana Warren – Regional Head of Maersk Project Logistics
As Regional Head of Maersk Project Logistics in NAM, Lana has responsibility for all special equipment and breakbulk on the fleet across brands. Additionally, she is responsible for project cargo requiring 3PL logistics support for all transport modes, including off-fleet solutions. Lana launched her career more than 30 years ago at Behring International, igniting a passion for International project logistics that has taken her around the globe. She held an FMC license and operated her own forwarding and export packing company for several years. Her experience portfolio includes senior positions with top-tier global freight forwarders prior to joining the AP Moller group, initially through Damco, before moving to Maersk. A.P. Moller – Maersk is an integrated container logistics company working to connect and simplify its customers’ supply chains. As the global leader in shipping services, the company operates in 130 countries and employs approximately 95,000 people.
Paul Hicks – Sales Manager – Gulf Region, Breakbulk and Projects with Wallenius Wilhelmsen
Paul Hicks is a 32-year veteran in the ocean carrier/forwarding business. His resume includes his first job as a boarding agent at Evergreen, 20 years in the container business, and the last 10 years in breakbulk/project/ro/ro. He’s spent time at Maersk and CP Ships on the container side. Opened an NVOCC with Acts Customer Brokers and worked with Expeditors on the forwarding side. Paul broke into the breakbulk business with the former Navex. And now works in ro/ro with a stint at Hoegh Autoliners and now with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean. His main focus now is breakbulk cargoes on the high heavy decks of WWO’s 130 ro/ro vessels. And he’ll tell you now he loves this business more than ever. Ever-changing and a helluva lot of fun.
Cliff Kuhfeldt – Senior Project Cargo Manager at G2 Ocean
Cliff Kuhfeldt joined G2 Ocean in September of 2019. He currently serves as the Senior Project Cargo Manager for one of the world’s largest vessel owners/operators. During his 25-year career in shipping, Cliff has held management positions with various companies in the field of International Transportation and Logistics. He is an active member of several industry organizations, including the International Transportation Management Association of Houston (ITMA), Railway Industrial Clearance Association (RICA), and the Houston Maritime Arbitrators Association (HMAA).  Cliff is a Sam Houston State University graduate, where he holds a Bachelor of Business Degree with an emphasis in marketing and management.Â

G2 Ocean operates a fleet of over 100 open hatch and conventional bulk vessels ranging from Handysize to Ultramax. The main commodities carried on our vessels are wood pulp and other forest products, aluminum, steels, granite, and industrial minerals.
